About The Pony Squad
Here at Stag Lodge Stables we are proud to offer “The Pony Squad”. This one-hour session takes place each Saturday at 12pm or 2pm for children aged 7-12 years.
The sessions are structured so that the children can learn different aspects of caring for the ponies. We regularly include topics such as: grooming, learning how to load a pony into a horse lorry, learning how to plait a pony for competition and loads more! The sessions are very hands-on and the children get to enjoy lots of fresh air whilst learning how to safely look after and handle the ponies.
The sessions are all “non-ridden” which means there is no riding involved. The sessions can be enjoyed by children of any ability so perfect if you wanted to bring siblings or friends to join your child for some outdoor fun even if they don’t have any horsey experience.
The groups run each Saturday during term time but you do not have to commit to each week. You can do as many or as little as you wish depending on your weekend schedule. The sessions are run by one of our experienced, passionate staff members.
To book a session you must be registered with our Stag Lodge 2 booking system. You then need to select the date you wish to book and look under the Group Lessons section. Each session costs £23.
The Pony Squad takes place at Stag lodge 2.
Pony Squad meetings run every Saturday at 12pm and 2pm during term time. They are the perfect way to get to know horses and become involved in the horsey world.
